Has anyone here shot both a 2" and 3" Colt King Cobra?

I have S&W j-frames in both 2" and 3", and I find the 3" gun to be much easier to hit with, which is of course what we'd expect. I think the better question to ask is, can you shoot the 2" gun well enough for the role intended. Borrow or rent a snub and see how much difference it makes to you.

    Sig P322 Send back?

Is the firing pin channel clean? A little bit of debris can keep the firing pin from moving all the way forward. Even sticky grease can slow it down.

.22 Shorts in a Single Six?

CCI makes an excellent round called the CB Long - a CB cap (lower power than even the shorts) in a full-length case. It delivers the power of a good airgun, with less noise.

    Inherent Cartridge Accuracy

I've had my eye on one of those little birds-head Vaqueros. Can you say why you find it difficult to shoot? The grip, the sights, the weight?

    Vaquero is jamming

I agree, either a high primer or just a bit of crud keeping the round from seating all the way.

Does Anyone Else Like 3" j-frames?

I have a 3" model 60 that I'm very fond of. Buffalo Bore makes a nice selection of standard pressure loads. I like the hard-cast wadcutters: https://www.buffalobore.com/index.php?l=product_list&c=23

    Toy cannon mould?

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but both halves seem identical. Why would we need two?

    Colt Cobra?

Check the chambers to see that they are smooth and not pitted. Pitting in the chambers can cause serious extraction problems.

    DOUBLE ACTION ONLY

My little P250 in .45 is like a modern-day bulldog revolver. Works like a windex bottle.

.45 acp single action cylinders gimmick or godsend

I like mine. 45acp is nice in a single action. You can even use a 1911 mag as a sort of speed loader!

How many 327 magnums could you fit in a double barrel N frame?

That ejector star though. Mechanically, I _think_ you'd have max capacity if the inner ring had one less round than the outer ring. Maybe 9 on the outside, so 17 total? Just a guess.

How to get 45colt Ruger sights regulated?

Imagine raising the rear sight by some huge amount, like 6 inches. Now imagine aiming the gun - you can easily see that the barrel would be tipped upwards.

You Asked for it, You Got It; .30 Super Carry.

After thinking a bit, I'm more excited than I was at first. Assuming the noise is not a problem, I think the real gain here is not the slightly expanded mag capacity, but the ability to make double-stack pistols slimmer, which is a big deal if you have small hands. Even a small dimensional...

.22 shorts or CB caps in a Stallion

It won't harm the chamber, but you might need to brush out some crud before loading longer ammo afterwards. If you can find some, CCI CB Longs are very nice, and spare the effort.

Believe it or not, toothpaste, and patience, might take off the worst of it off. It's a very mild abrasive. My 629 looked better after I did it, not perfect but better.

New revolver and A few firsts

With the old-style grips and grip screw (which can be unscrewed and removed with the rim of a cartridge) the GP can be disassembled without tools, which is kinda cool. I cleaned up the trigger on mine - a retired security-guard gun, purchased used, and filthy - by hosing it out with brake...
