    Review of the SAR B6P

I must've gotten lucky with my Sar Compact. I've read several reviews that say the safety is hard to operate but mine is almost too easy to flick on or off. I carry it in a IWB molded holster with the safety off though, and only use the safety when I take it to the range, so that's not a problem...

    Double Action 45 ACP thoughts?

I have a plain, old, full size EAA Witness with the old style square slide. I bought it slightly used for $300 in 2004 and have never experienced a hiccup with it. Eats anything, always goes "BANG" and is more accurate than I am. I carry it from time to time in cold weather clothes, but it's...

    Why no medium/full-sized .32 and .380?

There's always the Hi-Point .380... It's a big hunk of metal.... Not quality metal, but still metal. And from what I hear, it always goes, "bang".

Upgrading from my SAR B6P, ideas?

I'll 2nd the Witness. I have the Sar B6p compact and a full size .45 Witness. The .45 doesn't kick so much as it just pushes back kinda fast. This is an older model before they trimmed down the slide.

    If someone shoots my dog...

How about a service dog? That'd have a direct affect on the dog's owner so, uh, I'd light him up.. Light em up anyway. Dogs are family. I'd probably be a little pissed if he shot my cat also. I have an ex-wife I wouldn't mind him slimging lead at though.

    Ammo stolen off of porch!

I know our station takes Ground packages at the counter but I don't think Ground will take Express packages. You can always decide which service you want to use. FedEx Kinko locations take both also

    Ammo stolen off of porch!

I wish you guys would post whether it's FedEx Express or FedEx Ground when you have an issue. Nobody realizes the difference and there is a REMARKABLE difference in the service and in the personnel. They are actually two different companies if you didn't know, both owned by the same guy though...

    Sar. arms

B6p Compact here and absolutely love it. Bought it from a friend that didn't like it. He put about 100 rounds through it and I've now put about 400 through it. Not one single FTF! More accurate than I am and easy enough to carry IWB in a deadeyeluke P-chip holster.

    Haunted firearms

I have a Navy Colt that my great great grandfather took off of a yankee he shot, then he used it to shoot three more and beat one to death with the butt. According to his diary, the memory bothered him a bit, but there were never any "hauntings" around it.

So I found a SAR B6P local and bought it

Love mine! Never noticed the trigger being bad though... Guess I'm not that picky. Shoots great, runs flawlessly, hits what it's pointed at and eats what's loaded into it. i am a little jealous though. Got mine for $300 after taxes and all.

    Alabama Rest Areas Posted

I live in L.A., that's Lower Alabama to the rest of that country. I carry where ever I go. Rest stops, church, graocery store, Panera Bread, oddly enough, we are not allowed to carry at a Mardi Gras parade and I don't , but they're actually pretty safe and I'm usually standing next to the...

Who here has a Sar b6p?

I carry the compact in a Deadeyeluke iwb holster. Dead nuts reliable pistol, no problems at all! Accurate, inexpensive, and comes in a really fashionable black.. What's not to love? Functions exactly like my .45 Witness, so I didn't have to learn a new weapon system. Oh! Go on youTube and do...

    Philippine 1911's- real deal

I had an American Classic II and loved it. Never had a problem and it was more accurate than I am. I ended up trading it to a friend and buying a gun for my wife. I'd have another in a heartbeat though and if I decided to get another 1911, that'll be the one. But IF I spent $2000-$3000 on a...

1911 lust...what is it about them???

I'll tell ya what it is about the 1911. Captain America had one! It's the All-American gun. It's the Ford Mustang of the gun world. It's big, it's heavy, it's bold, it's bodacious... And it's loud! God bless 'Murica! ;) couldn't help it. I bought one for all the same reasons and I really...
