I have had my Hi Point 9mm for about 2 yrs. After the first 250 rounds, no problems.. I put a Hogue Handall grip sleeve on it and that fixed the grip problem.
I also have an extra factory mag for it... It may be up for sale..

Which still comes in handy if I have to lock the gun in my car for whatever reason. Besides the KT I stored ammo in the case, no problems either way, I...
On a flight from Dallas to Florida I took my KT .32, one mag and (8) rounds of ammo. The ammo was in one of those little ammo wallets, but the ammo, mag and gun were in a "Car Safe" which was a great investment....

OK, what do I need to look for in a used BP pistol .44. I will mainly be looking for a used Uberti or Pietta 1858 Remington. I there any tell tale signs that I should look for? And for that type of pistol what would be a good price? Or am I just better off to buy one new? Big show tomorrow...
Bought my Bersa about 2 yrs ago and still love to shoot it, for the Range I shoot CCI Blazers, no problems....If you have any Bersa specific questions join this board: http://bersatalk.com/default.aspx Good bunch of people with great ideas, we also have a gunsmith there that does warrenty work...
Duncan,
How would you feel if a guy was saving up for a $400 gun and one night got shot because he didn't buy the ~$100 Hi-Point at a Gun Show? Have you ever owned a Hi-Point? One of my guns is a Hi-Point 9mm, after the first 250 round break in it has never failed to shoot................

Quick question, are they easy to field strip and clean? I have seen them for sale at Academy Sports here in Texas, as I remember the prices were good..

Two good come-backs:
"You sure are nosey for an ugly person"
"You wanna su*k my what?, I didn't hear you?"
They usually leave you alone after one of those...:)

I haven't really had any problems with my 9mm Hi-Piont, my friend did, sent it to HP and they fixed it...Mags seem to be the biggest problem. HP will fix the gun even if you are not the org. owner........If you call them with a problem, they will send parts at no cost also..
