Myles, I like the idea of a bearcat, but they are just too dang small for my hands. I also think I want a DA/SA if I go the revolver route.
lions, I have seen a few buckmarks, but never talked to anyone that has owned them.
So I feel as a gun owner its almost a requirement to have a .22lr pistol, and I really miss having one since I sold my P22. It was just too small to hold properly with the same grip I use on my other pistols.
Im looking for something that isnt too spendy ( less than $400), shoots all kinds...
Sorry sir but you are leaving the house grossly under armed. I suggest you go to your local butcher shop and upgrade to at least a 16oz tactical ribeye.
If you look at his profile hes "toned" his EDC down over the last year. I watched some of the videos while I was bored at work. In one video he was talking about some super ugly glock base plate and said "I like it because it looks tactical"
To be honest im sort of glad there is half an ocean...
"Reliable, simple to operate, no external safety levers, night sights, picatinny rail mounted flashlight, heaviest caliber YOU can shoot well. Seems to favor the Glock or Sig from your list."
I have to agree with this. A pistol mounted light can give you a big advantage if you are going to...
One thing I dont think I saw anyone mention, space blankets. They are very light weight and small, can be used to keep warm, form a rain shelter while collecting the water and a ton of other things. A rain poncho might be good to throw in as well.
The camp saw is a useful thing to have, you...
People play it just like paintball, dress up in camo, go out into the woods and shoot each other with them. People spend well over a grand on paintball guns.
I wont bash a kimber, I wont bash a colt, I wont bash a Springfield, but I think I (and everyone else who shoots pistols) have the right to bash the AMT hardballer.
FMJ ammo in a .357 sig or 5.7mm would probably actually work worse than FMJ 9mm in the stopping power dept.
Im not the biggest fan of 45's, but if I had to trust my life to a handgun shooting FMJ, I would want a 45.
Thanks JeepDriver, thats the kind of input I was looking for, although you might have made it that much harder to decide lol!
So between the issues of stove pipes and inconsisstant triggers on the cz's I think that is not an option for me.
