Thanks much for the reply guys. On the barrel is a stamping (of which I do not have a picture ) that says 22 Short. Also there is a number that is stamped in two places into the metal that is 359482. I can get pictures of these if needed. Thanks once again

I just inherited one exactly the same as yours. Problem is, it's usable do to barrel issues as you described. I was really hoping it would have been in as good a shape as yours. Enjoy
