    What are the issues?

Not a fan of blazer ammo

I've shot about 10,000 rounds of the Blazer aluminum cased ammo over the years and I've never had a problem with it. I did have several problems with some Blazer Brass ammo, but I contacted CCI and explained the problem and they promptly sent a return label and replaced ALL of what I had...

Uh oh, better scrub that social media history

Social media posts are obviously public and your advice is sound, however internet search histories should remain private, save for a search warrant signed by a judge.

    S&W 357 586 Combat Magnum

I'm aware of that, though my reply doesn't make that very clear. My point to "nuclear meltdown's" post was that the model 66 is available for someone desiring a S&W .357 magnum without a full length lug.

    S&W 357 586 Combat Magnum

Wouldn't that be a model 66? The full length lug is the sole reason (aesthetically) that I like the 586/686.

Fired my new Kimber K6 today...

Fit and finish is top notch. The sights are sooo much better than my J frame. The trigger is really nice too. Very smooth, and easy to stage for single action feel. Earns its price tag? I'm happy with its value, but the answer to that is dependent on one's financial situation. I paid $899...

Fired my new Kimber K6 today...

I will try something else before swearing off of .357 in this gun, thanks. It was just as painful with a two handed grip. I'm in the market for a 586 as we speak. I'd be interested as well. Looks like a lot of wasted energy there. The .38 round was NOT a +P, it was WWB 130 gr FMJ.

    S&W 357 586 Combat Magnum

Thanks. I'll be shopping for a 4" or 6" barrel. Probably the 4".

Fired my new Kimber K6 today...

I got a chance to send a few rounds downrange with my new Kimber K6 Deep Cover today. The .38 and .38 +P recoil was very manageable (could hardly tell the difference), but the recoil with 357 was brutal! I (wrongly) assumed that the recoil with the magnum ammo out of this gun would be similar to...

    S&W 357 586 Combat Magnum

Very timely post! I'm itching for a 586. I've had 2 686's over the years (a 6" and a 4") and I regret selling both of them. Do all the new S&W revolvers have that lock on the side plate?

    Kimber K6 Deep Cover

I blocked my Milt Sparks holster that was made for my S&W 442 overnight, and the K6 fits pretty good.

The K6 Kimber, what's your take on the gun?

I believe you’re referring to the DCR. “Deluxe Carry Revolver”.

The K6 Kimber, what's your take on the gun?

I agree. I was torn between the CDP and the Deep Cover, I ended up going with the latter.

The K6 Kimber, what's your take on the gun?

The CDP is black with a stainless cylinder and barrel, and night sights.

    Kimber K6 Deep Cover

Arrived today, can’t wait to shoot it!

    New Kimber K6s

I just ordered a K6s Deep Cover. Should be here Friday, can't wait! I looked all over locally, but no one has one.

    Concealed Carry Snubbie?

The Glock 43 you mentioned is chambered in 9mm, not .380. Nothing wrong with a revolver, but I've found that the Glock 43 is easier to conceal.

    New Kimber K6s

Do all the models of this gun have a "carry melt" treatment? I compared a stainless model to the DC model the other day in a gun shop and they both appeared to have smoothed edges. I wish they offered a DC or CDP model with the standard 3 dot sights. I'm going to sell my S&W 442 in favor of...
