Don't forget Gore's +/- 151 day tour of R.V.N. Mine was 365 days but "I ain't no senator's son." For the record I think that no matter who wins in November we lose.:banghead:
I own 2 Blackhawks (41 Mag.& 45 Colt) and 1 Taurus (357) all bought new. The Taurus and the 41 Blackhawk have been accurate and problem free. The Taurus is +/-10 years old and the 41 +/- 5 y.o. The 45 Blackhawk came from the factory with the grip frame misaligned and after 1 or 2 cylinders of...
I responded to an anti-concealed carry editorial in the Chillicothe (Ohio) Gazette, but of course they chose not to publish it. The only derogatory term I used was "elite media" but thatmust have offended their delicate sensibilities!:D If at first you don't succeed--------
I intend to work up some "Ruger only" loads for my 45 LC Bisley. Some people on this forum recommend installing an aftermarket base pin & I was wondering if this is really necessary. I realize they're not that expensive but I am borderline poor! My 41 Mag. Blackhawk (stock) handles max. loads...

I luv the M-14:D ! Had one in RVN til they pried it out of my hands and gave me a Mattie Mattel p.o.s.! IMHO the .223 is a damned adequate Poodle cartridge! :what:
W.D.M. Bell used the 7mm. Mauser ( and a ".257", 6.5 x55 ? )to kill elephant in Africa, but they wouldn't be my first choice!:D From " The Wanderings of An Elephant Hunter" by WDM Bell
Digital scales are also used to weigh powder for reloading; 'course they're graduated in grains. Sounds like a good bust to me,esp. considering the controlled buys. Merry Christmas to all!:D
This is the same episode with the "heat detecting bullet" that penetrated steel plate without expanding but destroyed a piece of meat without exiting. Call me a skeptic but I have a hard time with that one.
I bought an SAR 1 (new) for $350 last summer and I'm very happy with it. Accuracy is fine for a short /medium range defensive weapon and functioning has been flawless with Wolf ammo. The dealer had two sar's and one had a canted sight so I bought the other one. As stated previously this problem...
Man this is FUBAR! I think the entire police force should call in sick for a month and let the intellectual cripples on city council try to maintain order.Thank God I don't live in Cincinati!:cuss:
