GForce .357 Magnum Lever Action - Who Makes It?

The 92 is a rear locking action. Unlike ARs, whose recievers can be made of plastic, the 92 reciever is a load bearing component. People are suspicious of it for the same reason they'd be suspicious of aluminum barrels. The materials properties seem inappropriate for the task.

Most inaccurate rifle I've shot in a long time, and it's a head-scratcher.

That's a Leupould offset ring. On top of the other reasons as for why OP might be having trouble, what is the trigger weight on the rifle? I upgraded the trigger on my 77/22 Hornet and found that any lighter than 1.25 pounds caused my consistency to go out the window. Perhaps the trigger is...

66% of gun stores I visited say these optics helps are absolutely worthless....

They're worthless. Get a muzzle laser boresighter. I splurged and got one powered by a 123 battery years ago and couldn't be happier. Battery lasts a long time and are comparatively cheap to replace.

Ruger Mini-14 vs. AR-15 - Which one and why?

And round and round we go, arguing past each other. All the people on the AR side to can point to is "Muh accuracy" (While avoiding plinking ammo, from a concrete bench, and secure sandbag rest) and "It's cheap". (Ignoring that cheap ARs are, at best, only marginally more accurate than a Mini...

Ruger Mini-14 vs. AR-15 - Which one and why?

This is all a fancy roundabout way of saying that the AR is superior because it's the cheapest option. (By instead calling the alternatives "overpriced".) That's a perfectly valid opinion, people just need to be honest about it. If ARs were still $1k+ and Minis still $500, people would be...

Ruger Mini-14 vs. AR-15 - Which one and why?

Exactly. The "MOA guarantee" is something nobody actually tests except with the 14 pound bull barrel ARs. The real world accuracy, shot under real world conditions, of a 7 pound AR and a 7 pound Mini are roughly comparable

Ruger Mini-14 vs. AR-15 - Which one and why?

For me, the ergonomics of the Mini are superior to the AR. Safety: the safety is ultimatly fine on each and is a matter of preference between the two. The Mini makes it effectively impossible to try to take a shot with the safety on and is easy to safety check by feel even with a gloved hand...

    New Ruger Mini-14 Tactical

Ban states. They price them high because they have a captive market in much of the US.

Hera Arms H6 folding stock bolt action rifle

Oooo. I like the side magazine. Good to see more interest in that.

Respect (or lack there of) for older Gun Writers

This is why they're not liked by some. They've been around the block, fallen for past fads, and are now decent at recognizing current potential fads. Example, they've pointed out that pistol red-dots are expensive, have a high skill floor, and most people don't train enough to be reliability...

Scope ideas for Henry 22 rimfire

I have 1 Gru Bee on a 22 rimfire and it holds up just fine. I have a featherweight Savage 30-06 on layaway that I intend to test the claims of being strong enough for centerfire.

    ROSSI 454

On my 1st gen 454, the magazine tube was torn out of the reciever by the recoil. I sent it back to Rossi. Once it came back, the magazine tube was torn from the reciever again due to recoil. Back to Rossi it went. Third time I've had no trouble with it. Seems like they figured things out.

    Why not 22TCM?

Just use a 22 rimfire at that point.

    Henrys new .223/5.56 rifle

I hate having to argue this, but you brought it up. AR magazines are wear items. Magazines are not wear items in most other gun designs any more than the barrel is a wear item. They are designed and built to last extended periods of time. I have 40 year old Mini-14 magazines and surplus AK...

    Henrys new .223/5.56 rifle

Very true. It's kinda depressing how we gun owners lie to ourselves constantly. "I'd buy one if it took AR/Glock mags" Every single one of us knows this is a lie. A $800 gun, $300 optic, and $1,000+ worth of ammo, but it's the $100-300 of magazines that's gonna bust their nuts? If they are...

    Why not 22TCM?

For me: 1. We learned ~120 years ago that bottleneck pistol cartridges aren't a very good idea against humans. 2. Because 22 Hornet does everything I want to do and is far more established.

Now this is a cool Ruger Mini-14

Tactical idiocy never goes away, it just changes form. On the plus side, it means that 1-4x and 1-6x LPVOs are plentiful and inexpensive.

Why so many hunting rifles with proprietary detachable magazines?

What color is the sky in your world? You don't need to baby AK, Mini-14 magazines, FAL magazines, etc. I commonly find AR magazines abandoned and used as targets at the local range I help maintain. Never find other kinds of magazines. Other than the bullet holes, they have no sign of being ran...

Why so many hunting rifles with proprietary detachable magazines?

The AR magazine is a textbook example of why there isn't such a "standard". It's flimsy, weak, and the source of most malfunctions. (This is of course due it it originally being effectively one-time use.) Were it not a "standard", nobody would use it in new designs. Properly designed magazines...

    Bolt-Action Blackout

Could have it reamed for 300 Ham'r if you reload. Then you'd have something that can throw the 150s fast enough to be accurate. That of course assumes you want to shoot supersonic.
