Sorry to see that. It's heartbreaking to see something like that. Dremilling it, hand filing it, etc your likely to get noticeable non-uniformity, as some of those gauges look a little deep. Though lopping 1/8'' off the barrel may be a little extreme. A smith should be able clean that up...

The CZ75 is one of the most copied/reproduced handguns designs today. They have got that many military contracts they are unlikely to fold up pistol production anytime soon.

I haven't posted for a long time, but felt compelled to voice my support for the Tanfoglio (or EAA). I've owned the match LE in 38 super for about 12 months now, and put approx 8000 rounds though it. You wont find it in the EAA line up, as it was built exclusively for the Australian market...

Get it hard chromed. 75 rockwell hardness will minimize the scratching.

Sounds like flakes of unburnt powder, or power residue. I was getting the same thing with my Tanfoglio with heavy loads using Bullseye power and a light projectile. It actually looked quite pretty when the sun shone though the falling flakes. Putting a firmer crimp on my cases solved the problem.
