Well I managed to find some winchester value packs at walmart yesterday. So I'm set for a little while any way.

Reloading only works if you already have the stuff. Find me primers right now and I will change my mind :D Even 0.50 a round is not to bad. If I had been smart I would have just bought two boxes of hornady when i bought my gun as it was like $13 or $14 for 25.

Best luck for a couple boxes of 9mm I just got my XD sub-compact and would really like to give it a try to make sure every thing is working as should and start to get a feel for it. Any advice on buying a box(50 rounds) or two would be great.

Well I ended up purchasing a Springfield XD Sub Compact in 9mm for $450. Not DAO but it felt better than the others. Lots of other people after the SR9C and there is a month or so wait on them at the local gun shop.

Is the sr9c DAO? It has a safety so that why I wondered. I guess I would consider a DA/SA so long as it has a decocking lever so I can make sure the firsts shot is DA.

Can any one weigh in on finishes? I would think any of the blackened slides are going to show ware after going in and out of holsters a bunch where as the hard chrome may not?
