    Finding age of revolvers

Nothing online for S&W, but members here. including myself, have the S&W standard catalog that we could look up the year for you. Post the serial letter(s) and numbers from the bottom of the grip frame (Replacing the last 2 numbers with XX) and we can help. Include a description of the gun...

THR approved gun shop in Pierre South Dakota.

Handgunlaw.us has info on some of the Indian Nations (top of main page). I would call the Crow Creek tribal police and ask. The tribal governments have their own laws and normally will not bother you if you are only passing through on the main highways. They do not recognize alot of...

Question on NRA Life Membership and Online Ammo Sites

There was a Gift $300 NRA Life Membership offered earlier this year. You had to be a friend or a relative of a current Life Member and it was to be paid for by the life member. No limits on how many could be signed up. I got one from an uncle in Texas and now I'm a Life Member. I heard there...

    Antique S&W revolver help

Forgot to add, the grip # is the serial number. The crane number(s) are S&W factory assembly numbers and were used to keep the same parts together as it was being built.

    Antique S&W revolver help

    It looks to me like a .38 Military & Police of 1905 - 4th change. 758,296 manufactured between 1915-1942. Serial # range 241704-700000 1915-1940 & 700000-1000000 1940-1942 I'm guessing it was made 1930-1935. That's as close to a date as I can get to. You can get a letter from S&W archives...

Sears 22 single shot lever gun

Holy Thread Resurrection Batman! I don't know much about the Agawams, but the barrels can wear out to the point of being a smoothbore. I don't know how good the steel was in the Agawam barrels, but the receivers were basically pot metal same as the Ithacas.

    SW Model 25 Classic question..

I have a mid 1960's 25-2 45acp that I adore. I buy a 25-10 or older if I was wanting one. Better built guns and less MIM parts The new "Classic 25" has the stupid internal lock and are useless as far as I'm concerned. Gunbroker usually has old and new 25's most of the time. As far as Yahoo...

SW Model 60 left in safety deposit box

    Serial number points to 1979. Range - 1979/1980 (R220001 - R280000) But it should be a 60-1 (1972-1987) and not a 60 no dash.

    Cartridge reassembly tool ?

Why not just videotape you or someone doing the pulling and reloading and put it on a DVD with narration for them to watch instead of doing it live.
