Forgot to add, the grip # is the serial number. The crane number(s) are S&W factory assembly numbers and were used to keep the same parts together as it was being built.

Serial number points to 1979. Range - 1979/1980 (R220001 - R280000) But it should be a 60-1 (1972-1987) and not a 60 no dash.
