Bingo. I was looking at this exact same product for my Mossy a while back. Great price for what you get. It is about $120.00 or more just to get a replacement barrel around here.

Agreed. Not necessarily my go-to but it is a great centerfire plinking rifle. Inexpensive to purchase and shoot.

Like I said, it was an amusing observation (to me). I have seen some guns that come in a very nice, lockable case.

This is just a silly life observation: It is funny that the majority of guns you can purchase NIB come loose in a cardboard or plastic box. Some don't even come in a box. You can open the box (one that generally won't stay shut anyways) and pick up the gun without anything tying it down...

Savage Mk. II I picked this little toy up the other day. Savage Mk. II F. It doesn't have the AccuTrigger and the stock leaves something to be desired. However, for what I paid, it is easy to get over those two small things. Besides, the trigger is very short and the pull is pretty light...

I am also shopping for a 22lr bolt action. I have decided on the Savage Mk II F. I can't really beat the price at $127.00. I'll get over the synthetic stock and might even convert it to wood later.

Like many others here, my company restricts firearms in the building. Due to our business we fall under the requirement by law to post the restriction to anyone entering the building. We have a big sign at the door stating the specific law. I just keep it in the car.

I agree with you about the looks. To me, wood always looks better on a gun. This is just more functional for me.
