    First deer rifle help

yeah i really like the fact you can just swap out barrels like that. Im a big fan of the 270/20ga combo. getting a rifle AND a shotgun for the price of one sounds pretty smart to me

    First deer rifle help

i hunt in central Texas at my buddie's deer lease. its pretty wooded but theres a lot of open spots where a 200+ yard shot can be possible. so it kinda varies out there. right now im pretty short on money so im looking for something within the 300 dollar price range. ive found a couple H&R .308...

    First deer rifle help

howdy, Im looking for a first deer rifle (most likely for next season). and ive pretty much narrowed it down to two rifles, the Mossberg ATR and an H&R handi rifle. Im pretty set on going with a .308 caliber. Ive shot a H&R .204 and it is a pretty nice accurate rifle. I don't have any...

    Glock Dreams

If it would be chambered in 7.62, it would be a medium machine gun in that case not an SMG. SMGs fire pistol calibers

Well it would be 99.9% plastic for starters. Like that polymer lower you saw at CTD, just everywhere. But you know if glock puts their name on a gun it's gonna be damn near indestructable. It would definitely be the first AR you could shoot underwater too I bet. But I think they should just...

    Colt detectives special

i'm kinda on the fence about it. on one hand, you could have a sweet nice lookin carry revolver ( and I think blued would look best). you would have to spend a good amount of money to get it there though. or... you could just get it serviceable and in "good enough" shape to be a good ol' bait...

    XD/XDM Flaws..

XD and XDMs are fine pieces of hardware. I'd bet my life on mine. that's why i carry one! I just feel bad those two people will miss out on knowing that because of that artard at the gun counter.

Looking for an XD9 subcompact holster

That sounds pretty smart. I may do something along those lines. I'm pretty positive I like carrying ITW and where I like to carry, but I'd rather try a cheaper holster first and work my way up. And still, the cheaper HN holsters look pretty nice

Looking for an XD9 subcompact holster

I'm liking the high noon holsters. I think I like the Hideaway and the Bare Asset holsters. The bare asset does sound a little flimsy by the description, though

Looking for an XD9 subcompact holster

Ive gathered from all these suggestions that leather is pretty much the way to go. is there any reason why I shouldn't get a nylon one?

Looking for an XD9 subcompact holster

Hi THR. First time post! Let me fill you in. I Bought a SA XD9 subcompact a couple months ago and my CHL is currently being processed. So I'm looking for a good inside-the-pant holster for everyday carry. And yes, I realize the XD is a little on the bulky side but now that it's cooling down it...
