6.5 staball has been very good in multiple calibers for me. Its not the best for ES. But does good for groups and speed in many calibers. I'm .5moa using it in 243 90gr AB. It works great in my 250 sav. 6.5 CM and 6.5 PRC. I can get under 1" in all those calibers, so It's very versatile.
I like the corbon hunters line in 180. This 250lb Fallow Buck couldnt handle it, so I think a bad guy wouldnt like it either. http://www.shopcorbon.com/CORBON-Hunter/10mm-Auto-180gr-CORBON-Hunter-BCSP/HT10180BC-20/300/Product
I have a new model and its just great. Can speak to the older models. But neither was designed to be shot a whole lot at 20oz you nor the gun will be able to take it. Shoot a little carry a lot is the battle cry for the Bulldogs!
No not in the standard defensive guns such as 45 acp, 9mm but in like full load 10mm, 357 mag it starts barely making some edge. In standard guns its about the hole.
We got all kinds of colors, this mottled color and black are the two predominate ones. Here is one same color but larger about 275lbs that I got last yr using SIG RCS 45. And a black with brown feet taken with charter bulldog 44 spl.
Got this 200lb+ Boar at 27yds with my Kimber 1911, dropped in tracks quartering away, hit point of shoulder penatrating into neck and out behind ear. Corbon 180 SP. :D
