This place was built by some else many years ago. No way for me to set anchors before I was born. So I need to come up with a way to do it now. Im guessing I'll have to get a hammer drill that can drill concrete but I'm not sure what anchor would be appropriate.
Hey guys I got my new winchester safe in the house and I'm trying to figure out the best way to anchor it. My floor is a concrete slab of unknown to me thickness with 1/4 inch thick fake wood tiles on top. Can someone point me it the right direction to the best way to anchor my safe? Thanks.
Hey folks I'm ready to buy a RSC safe. Im looking for a 700+ pound large safe in the 1400 dollar price range. Probably a cannon or winchester to get the size I'm looking for in my price range. I'm gonna bolt it to the floor or wall in a room corner where prying would be difficult in the area...
Didn't realize that fl and wa don't reciprocate any more. Guess I'll be defending myself in the ways of a cave man for the next week, lol, it's OK we are more than capable. Are we really a free people? That's purely rhetorical, don't want to derail my own thread.
He guys looking for tips on checking my ccw in my luggage flying to tacoma washington. I plan to call both airports for instructions but was hoping to hear from fellow thr members that fly with guns. Just want to be safe and act within the law. Also would like to hear from Washington residents...
10-4 on this. When my wife started carrying she was trained first thing that if her gun is taken out of its holster in her purse, it is either to be fired or unloaded immediately. Obviously itn a threat hopefully it doesn't need to be fired but I think you get my point.
Yea I think it was empty. He owned the president by the way. Great stuff. So far 3 pro gun people to 1 anti asking questions, I bet they load it with anti gun questions from the middle to the end. I just can't see them letting in go on they way it has so far.
Just a heads up to anyone who may not know, a live town hall on guns is live on cnn with obama. I think we know how most of this will go but there are pro gun folks in the room and so far they are asking tough questions. Just wanted to make sure you guys know it's on.
147gr xtp bullet length- .660"
147gr hornady custom cartridge length- 1.102"
Measurement based on 3 rounds, all identical, not even .001 variance. Obviously got lucky, not even hornady is that perfect lol.
Thanks for all the info guys. I think I'll try to use up my aa7 on a good load for these 147gr bullets. I'll save my pp and bullseye for 124gr and lower. As a general rule using slower powder like #7 and blue dot in 9mm would be better with heavy bullets correct?
Do you want the cartridge length on the factory round or the bullet length. Soon as I get home I'll get you that info. As far as finding them I get my factory rounds and reloading bullets anytime I'm near a bass pro. Always seem to find them there.
Hey guys I'm looking for a clone recipe to match the 147gr hornady custom ammo that I use in my ccw sig p938. As some of you know, the sig 938 can be picky with feeding ammo. After extensive testing, I've found the 147gr custom to feed 100 percent reliable over years of use. This round uses the...
Hey guys Im searching for a winter project and high end ar's are getting boring to me. Are there still plenty of ak kits available at prices that make them worth doing? To anyone who builds them, where are the best online providers of these kits? I'm also looking for the best diy online guide...
