    My mosin rusted...

Get the rust out with penetrating oil and a bronze brush, clean with some powder solvent to make sure nothing is trapped in/under the fouling, clean it WELL with patches wet with water, dry it completely beyond any doubt, and apply a good protectant like CLP or the like.

    PSL Suppressor Question

The gas system is set up for ~150gr military ammo. The suppressor will increase back pressure to the gas system and make the heavy loads do even more damage to the rifle than if they were unsuppressed. If I were you, I'd be careful even shooting 150gr milsurp suppressed. Might want to start...

    Shipping Long Guns From Connecticut

Nope. Also, make sure there aren't any markings on the box indicating that it contains a firearm. Happy to help :)

    Shipping Long Guns From Connecticut

He can ship them directly to an FFL in OR. He doesn't need to involve a CT FFL unless he wants to. The way it normally works is the FFL will send a signed copy of their license (fax, mail, etc.) to the seller and the seller will then ship the firearm to the address on the license via UPS, USPS...

    7.62x54r cast bullet data

I've found 10-14gr of Unique to work well with 200gr gas-checked.

AR15 with Biathlon Bolt Action? (to thwart gun bans)

A toggle action would probably be pretty tough to manipulate on an AR when compared to a .22lr, seeing as you need to deal with the rotary bolt and whatnot.

    New AK-74 Clone, Waffen Werks

5.45 brass can be made by FL sizing and then trimming .222 Rem brass, bullets are available from MidwayUSA and surprisingly cheap. Lee and RCBS make custom 5.45 dies, but they're pricey.

Happy new gun day for me, and some recommendations please.

Harris bipods are all made in the US and are good equipment.

Is the Remington 7615 Coming Back?

Those actually got included in CT's recent ban as a specifically named "assault weapon", so we can't even have them here anymore.

    Mossberg MVP .223

1:9 twist, I would bet on 55gr shooting the best. The heavier weights (69gr, 72gr) most often shoot well in 1:7.

    New AK-74 Clone, Waffen Werks

They do make one in 54r, actually. All I've seen around are real. All of the ex-Soviet combat optics are tough and pretty high quality, but sit very high over the bore. They're also a bit heavy.

How hard would this be to install on my MAK 90?

Beryl stocks attach to standard AKM rear trunnions with no modification necessary.

    PTR....for what purpose?

It's a reliable, powerful rifle that works for defense, competition, or just plain fun. In terms of price and quality, PTRs are really the best HK-style rifles available.

    Beretta ARX-100

It's a bit... chubby. I'll reserve real judgment for after I know more about actual function. Let's see if it can hold its ground against the SCAR, Tavor, AUG, and other expensive non-AR semis.

AR15 vs AK-74 poll....if you were dropped into a combat zone......?

Assuming we're talking about the rifles you have in those pictures? AK. The red dot will be much faster than the AR irons. IMO, speed is key in combat. I also have more experience with the AK. That said, THR doesn't do "what-if" scenarios. P.S.- Nice AK, I love the graffitied surplus mag and...

New AK gas tube wont fit, Help!

Use a bigger hammer. I'm only half joking. A good rubber or rawhide mallet might do it. Files and sandpaper too.
