Well, I'm in the process of getting a few spare parts for my Glock 26 and 19. Just hope I never need them. Glock has great CS, so I shouldn't worry too much.
I'm picking up a used Gen 2.5 Glock 26 tomorrow. I always see how many rounds people have through their Glock 17's and 19's, but when it comes to the 26, the round count seems to be lower. Can a Glock 26 live up to it's big brothers legacy? Can it outlive you (as some folks say)? Can it fire...
Thanks for the replies guys. I'll be picking up my Glock 26 on monday. I might get a local armorer to give it a once over. Everything on it is replaceable, so therefore, I have nothing to worry about.
I saw a used Glock 26 the other day at a pawn shop and put some money down on it so that they can keep it for me. I went back today to put some more money on it and found out that its a Gen 2.5 (has finger grooves without the checkering). Taking a more thorough look at it, it seemed to be...
I think I'll go the 10/22 route and wait out the craziness like a few of you suggested. All I have to do now is find a good deal on a new one, used ones probably got the snot shot out of em. Are there any other .22 rifles in the same league as the 10/22 that you guys suggest? I want to go pick...
I was actually thinking about a Ruger 10/22, but felt that a good semi auto should come first, guess I was wrong. I know that the Marlin lever action isn't a semi auto, but it's still a good gun to have. The lowest price I've seen on a SKS around here right now is $600, I should've picked one up...
I went through a bunch of firearms when I first started getting into firearms and shooting sports. I sold a few and traded a few. Now I'm down to two guns, I have a Maverick 88 and a Glock 19. I really wanted to get a Semi auto rifle, but these prices are ridiculous. So I was thinking about a...
I appendix carry a Glock 19 and have no worries. Safe gun handling and a holster that covers the trigger guard are the keys to carrying safely. So I would say carrying a striker fired pistol is safe. Oh and always keep a round in the chamber, a combat pistol should always be combat ready.
Did some drills at the range today, (drawing and safely reholstering) and to tell you the truth it's pretty safe once you get your finger control down. Remember to keep your finger pointed down as if your pointing to the ground when drawing and to look at the holster when reholstering your...
I store my unloaded Glock in a Kydex holster and leave it in my range bag overnight. I take it out everyday because it is my conceal carry firearm and its worn in the waistband in the same kydex holster. How do you guys store your Glocks? Is it ok to store a Glock this way?
Great statement.
And to Tacxted, thank you for recognizing your freedom and using your 2nd Amendment. PM me if you ever need to discuss any gun related issues.
Girodin I understand what you mean, but im simply trying to say that reholstering is not meant to be a rush thing. Its not like they're competitions to see who can reholster fastest, but they do have quick draw competitions. Getting the weapon out of the holster matters more than reholstering...
