Looking to get a smaller carry weapon for summertime here in Florida. I have the SR9c in my truck but it can be a bit much to carry wearing light shorts. Any suggestions? I don't want to go over $600 and would like a 9mm that can shoot +p ammo. The Lc9 is pretty cheap but I don't know if it can...
I removed my trigger group on my BPR .308 last night for a thorough cleaning. It's got a pretty tough trigger that pulls around 7 pounds. is there a way to lighten it up a bit and get it closer to 5 or lighter without sending it to a gunsmith? I tried to google it but came up with a lot of...
It definitely helps to have some sort of sight adjustment. I had a tru-glo choke that would throw the pattern high and right. I killed a turkey with it but it took two shots bc I had a bead and forgot how to aim the gun. The post above says it best.
I thought the 500 was a little light. I'd get another 12 gauge with a little more weight to it. You are shooting target loads, right? Some might suggest a 28 gauge but I know nothing about them.
I love my sr9c. The only problem I had was with monarch ammo 115 grain fmj's. Out of a box of 100 I had 3 FTF's. I ran those same 3 rounds through the gun a second time and they went boom. Other than that it's eaten everything else without any problems
What about the ruger sr9c? It's has a 10 round carry mag and 17 round extended mag. I picked mine up for $400 and I'm more than satisfied with it. The newer sr9 has the same trigger as the compact but in a full size frame.
I figured an auto loader would be the way to go. Anybody have a Winchester SX1 they want to trade for a benelli pump? Wife said I can't spend a dime on anything until she gets a sewing machine.
My nephew went on his first rabbit hunt and fell in love with hunting. He wants to go turkey hunting now. I shoot a 12 gauge and would never let him near it with a turkey load. Any suggestions on a 20 gauge? Would a .410 kill a gobbler? Looking for ideas/ excuse to buy a 20 gauge auto.
I have a Winchester 1300 NWTF and I want to put a scope on it. Any recommendations for a scope under $100? I can shoot just fine with just the bead. I just want a scope in case I ever get a slug barrel for it.
