A buddy of mine cried about the recoil on my CZ82, whining about commie guns & such. Then he pulled out his Lorcin :what::eek:, touting the soft recoil. ..BANG...JAM...BANG...FTE...FTF...and finally the mag fell out... No words were needed. I never see the Lorcin anymore.

+1 on the magnet. I use a big old speaker magnet on a few feet of twine. Also do my disassembly on a large white microfiber towel, so small parts are visible and don't roll away.

I've got a 1500. Just got one gun but i can keep all my range gear in it: pistol, 4 mags, couple boxes of ammo, eyes, ears, targets, stapler & cleaning kit with room for a couple more pistols once I get more.

For $1K, I'd get 2 cz-82s (they're ambidextrous, rugged, accurate, great triggers) and a couple thousand rounds of ammo.
