Have a Ruger 9mm carbine looking for Glock mags

CDNN I think has the best price on genuine Glock Mags. Life is too short to use aftermarket.

    Quality budget 9mm pistols

Waiting to pick up an M&P Shield that I won at a SCSA prize table. I'm planning on making that my primary carry gun.

    Glock who?

I have found that there are a couple ways to deal with unhappiness with Glock stock triggers. One is to simply polish a few contact points inside the trigger. There are numerous youtubes showing how to do the .25 cent Glock Trigger job. Another way is to buy a competition spring kit, I think I...

    Ruger Blackhawk

Seems like a lot of effort just to use some common range pick-up brass.

    Why Glock?

Yes. We firearms peoples are without a doubt the most brand loyal consumers on the planet. Not that I'm the center of all things gun related but I do shoot in a lot of matches and thus shoot with and talk to a lot of active high volume shooters. Just my personal observation but those that do a...

First Glock - Can't shoot it worth a darn

In my opinion this ^^^ is the problem. Not that I'm the center of all things firearms and handguns. But I went from Glocks (9mm G17) to S&W L & N frame revolvers. I was having the same problem the OP was having with my Glocks. When I started shooting N frame revos it was an effort because those...

    Smith & Wesson 5906 9mm...

The first pistol I purchased when we moved to PA (from NJ) was a 5946. The same basic gun only DAO. I traded it for a 5906. Both of these were police trade-ins. Along the way I picked up a 6906. I then sold the 5906 because it was too big for me to carry but kept the 6906 and picked up 5 or 6...

John Ross not delivering paid for JR500

I agree. I believe that that individual is a Bishop in the Church of the Handloader. LOL! I have an account on that forum, had it for I think 3 or 4 years. I have maybe 3 posts total. When I go there it is just to browse around. I had a question on a load and found the answer I was looking for...

John Ross not delivering paid for JR500

Just my personal opinion. In general I think that many firearms peoples like us tend to post complaints about the most minute complaints. It's like someone buys a pack of 100 small pistol primers and it only has 99 in the tray and the poster is all out of wack about missing a 3 cent primer. So I...

Primer flattening on 1st 9mm reloads

I agree with two major points being made here. The first is looking at the pictures the OP isn't really flattening primers. Second, HS-6 is not the best powder for what the OP is trying to accomplish. Too slow.

Step up from single stage press?

Anyone that is consuming +/- 1000 rounds per month should consider one of the better progressive presses out there. Do that and you will not hate yourself after a few months pass by.

Fond memories of the great gun writers of the past.

There are still some good writers out there. Today, print publishing, like firearms hardware, is much more specialized. So you have to look around some. As a kid age 12, (1970) my brother and I would take out books from the library from the writers being canonized today such as Jack O'Connor...

1973 Ruger Single Six or 2019 Heritage RR

If the Ruger is "tight" as the OP states then it isn't "well worn".

Cartridge stuck in RCBS bench priming tool

Every now and then, for a variety of reasons, I will push the lever down when there isn't a primer loaded. This causes the plug to get jammed into the unprimed primer pocket. I keep an extra decapping pin around, that and a small hammer to push the plug out of the primer pocket.
