I like to say they are like reading the chapter before going to class. Definitely great teaching going on, and it should be very similar to what you will learn in a class.
I watched them, got a lot better, and then took an 8 hour class. I was glad when I got to the class that I knew most of...
The training I received on this was yelling what they have in their hands if you can. It helps you identify what is in their hands before you shoot. Might be a gun, might be a teddy bear, might be car keys, might be a knife. Who knows.
The context it was taught was clearing your house...
It might be a little tight from being brand new. I'd shoot it some more and see if it will go into battery on it's own. If not, you might want to call Glock or see a Glock Armorer.
The test to check your recoil spring is to point the gun straight in the air and let the slide go really slow. If...
It should be pretty obvious by now this isn't the right place to answer your question.
Good luck in finding the answer. If you would, please update us when you do so we might actually have a correct answer in this thread.
I don't think it stops the troublemakers as much as it gives them something to point to and say "Leave." You're dealing with minimum wage employees most of the time, it has to be dumbed down for everyone involved.
They'd freak knowing I walk around in a shoulder holster sometimes. Never at the range, of course.
I'm curious as to how they go and hang targets? Or is this an indoor range with the electronic hangers? At my range we put the gun on the table, slide locked back, mag out, and walk down range to...
I'd keep the 19 too. It's a more general purpose gun. Don't need a full size and you probably don't need a sub-compact with it.
Try the different straps. My Gen4 26 is without any straps right now but I think I like my Gen 2 19 grip size even better.
I highly doubt any 17 year old punk kid that's suspended from school knows what CCW means.
Had he been wearing a sash though maybe the kid might have at least known that Zimmerman was not on the prowl for trouble and was just trying to keep his neighborhood safe. Still not a good enough reason...
If you are 100% happy with the gen 3 grip size then I see no reason to go for the gen 4. My gen 4 with no strap on it feels absolutely awesome in my hand and it reflects very well in my shooting. I'm considering selling my gen 2 19 to get a gen 4 because of how it feels.
FWIW, I also have a 29...
Are you having problems currently? Most people go with the "if it's working fine don't mess with it" on this. They are more common on SBR/pistol length barrels.
I'd think you could measure from the inside of the barrel to the edge of the threads with a caliber? If it's the same distance in 3 spots it should be centered. I have no idea what an allowable tolerance would be though.
I bought the holster + 2 mags combo for my M&P. No complaints really. The mag holsters can be a wee bit tight if you jam the mag in all the way but a guy I spoke to with a Raven said his does that too. I think I paid like $90 shipped for the whole thing? I couldn't argue with that at all...
You are still using the same cast bullet? I'd try a box of factory ammo, maybe a couple different brands/weights/whatever and see if it's possible it just doesn't like that load.
