I had a sort of similar problem. I went to a gun show and bought a bag of .44-40 brass. I reloaded them and I noticed that every so often, maybe 4 times one would be hard to run through the press but not really anything to fuss about.
I went out to the local SASS match and right in the...
I am having a rather heated discussion with a couple of gun owners on an extremely liberal forum.
The one claims to be an avid hunter and has several guns but he sees no reason for anyone to own a "military" style rifle or or pistol or for any gun to have a capacity over 6 rounds.
I...
This question came up in another forum about how C&B revolvers would have not been seen in the 1880's and later and also about the original conversions that were done to both the Colt and the Remington. I have heard that they converted original .44 six shot revolvers to .46 caliber 5 shot...
I always shop at the local stores first and then if they don't carry what I need or can order it I go to the bigger chains. They just put in a Bass Pro Shops here and they carry quiet a few guns, rifles, handguns, and shotguns but as has been mentioned like most chain stores don't carry used...

2. The Remington '58 .44 (WIth...

New member here. I bought an M1 Rifle a while back and want to load for it. I have heard that too strong a load will cause problems with the rifle. What are some recommended loads as far as powder and bullet weight? Any suggestions will be appreciated...
