I have good luck with 400gr bullet and H110 powder. You need to check your 500 brass for a R in the headstamp. This brass uses rifle primers verses the older brass that used a pistol primer. There was a problem with Winchester 296 and pistol primers.

I don't know what your talkin about. My Beretta PC magazines hold 10. My Ruger 10/22 mags hold 10, same with the MK-II and the 22/45. The 30 Carbine holds 10. all my other mags are standard issue.

Gorgeous job. One question did they re-stamp the serial #. My co worker had a mdl 29 re-blued, but they put a R in front of his serial #. To indicate that it was a factory re-finish. Just in case you wanted to sell it as original condition.

You sir are nuts. I have the 8 3/8" barreled one. I enjoy shooting this gun recoil and muzzel blast are great. I just can't imagine shooting a 4" barreled one. Although I'd definatly like to fire one once. Just might like it. Congrats on your new gun.

I try to keep track of how many times they have been reloaded. But if I get them mixed up I don't worry about. You will get open primer pockets and cracked necks to let you know when they had enough.
