    Suppressor Rebuild?

Send it to Nick at ECCO for sure. He has done a few of mine and the work was outstanding.

    New to USPSA

The last IDPA match I shot I won overall with a 686SSR. At least thats what the unofficial results had. After the match the scoresheets somehow got "lost." Still makes me chuckle thinking of the delicate egos at play. Haven't shot IDPA since.

    New to USPSA

Ahhhh. An "outlaw" match. Some of them can be a real good time. And some others, not so much. Contact the match director and ask him some questions. If he isnt willing to engage with you, find another match.

    New to USPSA

Chances are good that you wont be using both a PCC and a pistol in the same match. Shooting a 223 at steel inside 100 yards is pretty dicey. Not only does the steel get torn up, but the chances of you getting hot with frag goes way up depending on how they hang/mount their steel. Reach out to...

Suppressor should not cost this much!

Thats cute. Loud and heavy. Everything people dont want in a can.

    Happy New Can Day!

I love new can day. Congrats. The TD is one of my favorite rimfire cans. That and my ECCO Ocelot get the most use.

    Form 1 Approval Ridiculousness

This happens all the time. Your applications didnt go the same examiners inbox. It is just the way it is. It is getting better, slowly.

    RMR bullets with a can

I have been shooting exposed lead jacketed bullet and coated lead bullets through my cans for 15+ years. No problems at all. In fact, my hard use cans see several thousand rounds of 55 gn FMJ bullets (with exposed lead bases) every year and they are still fine. Gallant used to make really...

7-1/2 Shot vs 8 For Skeet?

Nope. If you want to make it fun, toss in a full choke and dont start with the gun shouldered.

I shot in the Texas State Highpower Championship this weekend

Very nice. Was that in Mineral Wells/Camp Wolters?

    Lawsuit against USPSA

The matches themselves? No issue at all. The management of the USPSA Organization? It is a train wreck and has been for 20+ years.

    Lawsuit against USPSA

I enjoy shooting USPSA matches and have been since the 90s. But things at HQ are out of control. And this is another reason why I will never again be a match director for anything above the local level.

    A Real Eye-Opener

Yeah. I dont get it. I wear eye pro all the time. There is zero change of my shooting a firearm without eye pro. At the matches that I run, it is 100% required and it is a range rule. If they are too cool to wear something, I tell them to leave.

    USPSA Targets

The cost of USPSA targets went from about 50 cents to about 1.35 each delivered in the past couple years. So we had to raise our match fees to break even. MGM had a good deal on them but stopped sometime last year. Shooters Connection and Target Barn are where we spend out money now.

Why do some use high power scopes for 22lr comps.

Yes. All rimfire. Our centerfire match start at 300 yards. The 100 yard rack goes from a 2.75 plate down to a 1.0 inch plate in .25 inch increments.

Why do some use high power scopes for 22lr comps.

We shoot our KYL at 50-53 yards. About 75-80% of the shooters clean it. However, it isnt a true KYL. We run it as a TYL. Once you miss you are done earning points instead of going to zero so new shooters dont get stomped on. But I also make the last two targets worth 2 points each. We also...

    MI Subgun Championship 2023 (video)

Sweet. I wish we had enough FA guys around here to do something like that.

Wait for Dead Air Mask or buy other?

Same here. My ECCO Ocelot Micro is one of my favorite and most used cans.

Wait for Dead Air Mask or buy other?

I have a Stainless Sparrow. It lives on my M-16 and does a good job. Slightly heavy and a little FRP. But I am not worried about a little FRP. I have a bunch of other rimfire cans (ECCO, TBAC, Jet, Keystone, etc) that I can use if I am worried about it. I do not think the conversion would...
