    Dillon Precision

I got through after 10 minutes, yesterday. The fella that answered was in a foul mood. It was my 1st call to them. I didn't go very well. After putting up with his rudeness, he did finally say I had a bad shell plate, and would send it out right away. I am sending a letter today, to...

    Bad Primers?

Demos, I have the same problem with my LNL. Hornady says they're working on redesigning the press, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that happening anytime soon. You can re-engineer your press, as Blue68f100 did, or just prime off press. I use a RCBS hand prime. That way I know it's...

Dangers in shooting 38s out of a 357??

This is an interesting discussion. It brings to mind an article I read several years ago. It was about the old gallery guns used at fairs and carnivals, 1906 Winchester's I believe. Anyhow, long story short, the use of tons of .22 shorts ruined the chambers to where they could only shoot .22...

    1911 for $900-$1200

Sig 1911 TME, exceeded all my expectations! One ragged hole at 50 ft. Fed everything I threw at it, mouse-fart loads to boot. $900

    problem with Lee dies

New or washed brass will hang in my Lee dies. I use a little Rooster case lube on a few cases, just run a lubed case in every 20 or so, keeps it from hanging up on the expander! Sorry to hear of your troubles. I've had good luck with Lee dies.

    Goofy Federal primer boxes

I take the box of primers out of the sheath. Then cut the bottom out of the sheath, fold it up on the back side, then tape the corners. Now you can take the modified cover, place it over the primer tray, tip over and remove the plastic box, while keeping the box tipped back at a slight angle...

    L-n-L primer seating adjustment?

My bench is solid. I had a Lee Loadmaster prior to the Hornady. I'm familiar with all the tricks to that one. My primer punch is traveling far enough. With unprimed case in station 2, with press midstoke, by pushing from the bottom, on the priming ram, all the way flush with the bottom...

    L-n-L primer seating adjustment?

I'm new here. However, I have a LNL AP. I've been having the same problem for the last 2 years. I've contacted Hornady. They've been very good about sending parts. I believe the problem is the twisting of the hole ram assembly when seating primers. I've done some searching on the...
