I use a lot of W231 for light loads in 9mm, .38 Special and .40 S&W. I also use a lot of Trail Boss for the .38 Special. I really like the W231, though, because I get great accuracy with light loads and standard loads.

My plinking load is 4.3 grains of W231/HP-38 behind 124 grain FMJ in my XD9sc. As always, work up your loads for your guns.
