Where to get BULK 5.56 LC brass

Anyone out there know of any reputable places that sell bulk 5.56 1x fired LC brass? My orders are normally 10k-20k in size and lately I've been having a real hard time finding suppliers that can meet my demands at the prices I can afford. When I think I finally found a good supplier they say...

    Black Hills Ammunition FTF

I have to wonder on more than 1 point when it comes to assembled cartridges. For 1 thing Black Hills (as I'm sure everyone knows) is reliant on someone else for primers. I ordered 10k primers awhile back with a 15% FTF, and I know it's not the fault of what it was fired from either. A tin foil...

    Where do you tumble?

I did the vibratory cleaning method for years indoors without a problem with the lid always on. I have recently (8mo ago) gone to the rotary tumbling method using stainless steel media, everything goes down the drain without so much as a speck of dust flying around. Not only that but it cleans...

    300 whisper/300 aac blackout

Actually reaming the ID of the necks makes them uniform. I used gauge pins during my initial forming and found out that alot do indeed have as much as .003 taper in the ID. I just take that part out because alot of my customers use a cast bullet and that means it's larger than your standard .308...

Then what you have will be fine for that.

    300 whisper/300 aac blackout

OK here's the deal between the 2 you mentioned. 300 Blackout and 300 Whisper are not the same animal. 300 Whisper was a wildcat cartridge that is a lower powered round than the 300 Blackout. The SAAMI spec on the case neck for a 300 Blackout with a .309 diameter bullet is .334, the 300 Whisper I...

    300 whisper/300 aac blackout

I sell that stuff on another site and I do over 10K of them a month. Yes I cut down 223 brass and I use one of those mini chop saws to do it and I cut them down to 1.355 and they will grow when you neck size them. Your dies will work on any brass, but you'll need to play with the die for sizing...

How much is it costing you currently to load a box of 50 .44 Mag?

YEAH I'm with highlander on that as well. Basically if you cast they are about the cost of a factory .22 round, provided you get the scarp wheel weight lead for free. But that's NOT including the cost of the brass, that I got for free (range pick up).

    A few AR15 ammo questions?

I've read so many posts in a few forums I just do the skimming thing, my fault. And when I type I sometimes summarize or not make it very specific but more general. Most folk out there use FMJ type stuff without the wisdom of what collateral effect it has.

    A few AR15 ammo questions?

ONE OF THOSE means your FMJ type things. I've used many types over the years. Soft points, FMJ, Hollow points. I want a rapid expansion as soon as possible for the really close to home stuff. To give you an example I live very remote, there's only 1 other house and it's 1/2mi away, after that...

Stainless Media Tumbling Review - Shiny Brass Pics

I've been using that method for a few months now, that stuff sure is sweet.

    A few AR15 ammo questions?

Being a reloader I've never used factory anything in my life. For in home defense if that should ever happen I use the Ballistic tip 55gr not loaded to full power but at around 2850fps. In a home, one of those, if missing the target can and will go through a wall, house, and more than likely a...

Rare or Hard to find Ammo

Where I am folks ask me to make them some of the strangest stuff, I had to do a lot of research on the 11.7x51R cartridge. You can buy them at one place that I know of but at $69per 20 that gets a bit ridiculous. It wasn't till recently I found out about the 9mm Fed rimmed cartridge, they...

    Making your own jacketed bullets

Well I do swage and didn't know a lot about it at first but for me that's the path I wanted to take. Only I took a different path with it, here's a post I wrote on the CB site a few months back:http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=132183 The caliber I'm doing is more labor intensive...

    5.7x28MM?

Although I don't know anyone around me that reloads that stuff the only other thing that comes to mind that the cases have a use for are the swagers. They cut it down and use the cut down cases for swaging 30cal projectiles.

    5.56 m855 penetrator in a .223 rifle?

I wouldn't want to use those UNLESS it's clearly stamped on the rifle itself. 5.56 ammo has a different leade in the chamber than a 223, and the pressures are greater in the 5.56 than a 223. I have 2 different rifles that can shoot 223 but only one rifle that I can shoot 5.56 with.

    WARNING! Defective Winchester Ammo!

It's ironic in a way about the WWB stuff, here I reload my own and sell some to the locals. It kinda makes me laugh inside when people comment on how reloaded stuff "Blows Up A Gun" when there are manufactures that make this stuff that have more defects in an average week than I've seen...
