They defiantly aren't what they used to be. I mainly go if I'm looking for or want to handle a specific firearm before I decide weather or not to buy it.
The last show I went to I took my grandson and he had fun looking and handling some of the guns. He even got complemented on his gun...
One that fits you and balances right for you is the best bet.
Congrats on the 7 years. I got a Ruger scout rifle when I hit my 8 year.
If he was anything like me, ALL the officers in 3 county's know you and are very glad to see you sober. ;)
Now that's funny but all to true. I shot mine at my sons property and they were ejecting over his shed onto his wife's car. He moved the car then told me I had to buff out the marks it left. :D
I've got a RCBS 5-0-5 and it is accurate. I also have a Lee that came with the kit I bought. It is accurate but a little harder to adjust.
I've never tried to count the "kernels" it took for a 1/10 of a grain though.
I'm coming up on my 10 years of service at work and they have an "awards for service" program. I get to pick my own gift. So I've got it narrowed down to 4 things(almost all shooting related)
Celestron 20-60x80mm ulitima spotting scope
Bushnell Natureview 20-60x65mm spotting scope...
I saw this online and was curious about this kind of steel.

I wasn't to sure if it would make a good sword steel.
Nice looking knife for a first knife. I looked at this thread earlier today and liked the idea so much I just ordered one for my grandsons birthday in May.:D
And I'll also add good luck finding a marlin in .357. I have found a couple and the price was WAY out there. I've been wanting one but not at the price their getting now.
This thread did give me an excuse to watch McQ again. It was a Mac10, my memory isn't what it used to be:o
