gp 100 Like tryshoot, I always seem to go back to the Ruger GP 100 4" stainless, and shoot .38 spl out of it. It's a heavy, recoil-absorbing gun. I guess I just like revolvers, and it's much more pleasant to shoot than the SW 638.

Gp100 I have a ruger gp 100, built like a tank. The 40 oz weight helps with recoil on full .357 magnum loads, also. Very manageable recoil.
