    Bar and Chain oil

I am left with a few ounces of Poulan Bar and Chain Oil A left over few ounces? Why do people want to mix crap that shouldn't be on firearms just because then wonder why they won't work??? Use some WD40 before that stuff and and thats not great. Or use some Canola oil. Should work as well and...

    Bar and Chain oil

I'd say NO. Guns don't need much oil. Last thing you want is to gum one up when you need it. Use it for other mechanical things.

    What's this bolt for?

Yup a Marlin. Thats why I say DON"T take bolts out and store them separately. The bolt looks in great shape so the gun probably is too. But useless now. Theres plenty of trigger, cable, ect locks to secure a gun with the bolt still in it. I've bought several boltless .22s over the years for dirt...

all good things come to an end

Make sure to get some quality desiccant packs to put in the tubs to remove any moisture from the trapped air. Also be carful what you wrap them in. I,ve read plenty of stories where bubble wrap or corrugated foam has left permanent marks on the blueing and wood from chemical reaction. Good luck...

    7.62x39

Yeah. I know some converted them back to AKs. The trigger guard was moved back for the Saiga stock. I think the trigger too. I put a Saiga stock on my SAR-1 to avoid AW regs. You know how much more deadly it would be with that bad pistol grip it came with. Trgger reach is a stretch but...

I could kick myself 10 times for not buying some of the Saigas back when they came in. They were under $200.00. Oh well.

Hypothetically what would be your choice: Uzi in 9mm w/ 16 Mags or Winchester Lever Action in 45/70 w/ 100 rounds of ammo?

Theres so many better choices I won't Hypo" whatever thinking about it. And if someone stuck themselves with just those two they didn't do much homework. Maybe I'd get a .22 semi auto with a case(5000) rounds of ammo. I'd be a unstoppable army in the eyes of many and the media.;)

Deer Crossing? I always thought the sign was Flying Deer. Didn't want to shoot any of Santa's herd.

    Misfire/hang fire time

I have a bunch of vintage 30s Turk 8x57. Some of it you can stand and stretch after pulling trigger. Pretty accurate though. Just put a heavy bag over the rifle when stretching so it doesn't move;).

Genuine Oil by Birchwood Casey - Life of an Opened Bottle?

Just store it where it doesn,t get too warm. I put it in a corner of a cabinet upside down. Any drying, skimming or congealing is at the bottom of the bottle. When you open it just clean oil. No chunks or crust. I,ve used a bottle of TruOil for several years. Still dried fine but tossed it as a...

Genuine Oil by Birchwood Casey - Life of an Opened Bottle?

Not sure. Rub a little on a scrap piece of wood to see if it dries ok. I also just put a pin hole in the foil and put what I,m going to use in a bottle cap. But when you store it place it upside down/cap down so the air is at the bottom of the bottle. Any drying is away from the opening. Lasts a...

    Chicago Sues Glock

Got a simple fix. You get caught using a modified Glock in a crime you get death penalty. Won't happen but I'd bet it would help.

This should get your blood boiling...

I think the UN shouldn't worry about highly regulated leagle hunting in SA. They should look at some of the neighboring countries where they hand children a AK to be a soldier. Thats psychological abuse.

.22 LR (Trying to determine make and model)

Standard Ballard rifling will have 6 or 8 deeper grooves. Micro groove has 12 shallow ones.

.22 LR (Trying to determine make and model)

Yes it's a M81. The rear of the bolt looks like the #4 newer style. IIRC that puts it later 50s to early 60s. Dig around on the net for "bolt styles". You can marrow it down more if it has plain or Micro groove rifling.

Just needs an iPhone 15 Pro Max, a $700 artisanal hatchet, and some $2,500 Nicks Boots and he'll be ready for the wine tasting before the Sundance premier of Kneecap Needs a horse too.
