    Caracal F & C: Pics

They look like a very improved Steyr. I hear they are much less finicky about what you shoot through them. I plan on getting the C model for my next handgun purchase. We will seeing these a lot more soon, as Caracal and their US distributor are planning a big ad campaign here in the coming months.

    Caracals anyone ?

I have been emailing the new distributor for Caracal here in the US, and he has informed me that they plan on marketing these guns more in the coming months. I have noticed that budsgunshop.com now has a Caracal section. They have popped up on other online retailer's sites too. I am seriously...

Which combination do you prefer for SD?

I generally prefer having the same caliber for both primary and BUG. Not absolutely necessary, but I just like it better that way. I would go with choice a.

    4" SP101 in .357

I doubt it would reduce recoil that much if any. As far as accuracy, I could always shoot a 4 inch barrel better that a 2 inch. The longer sight radius helps me. The 2 extra inches will give you better range too. Full size pistols have better handling characteristics than snubbies.

    9mm carry

I have seen A LOT of positive reviews on the SR9c. Apparently Ruger has incorporated the changes they made in the compact into the full size and as a result, the full size is running better because of it. Hickok45 did a great review of the SRc on Youtube...

    finishes

I have never had a Glock rust, and I have carried in every condition imaginable. Rain, snow, the high humidity of where I live in East TN. My Glocks have withstood it all just fine. Deus Machina makes a good point about hard chrome. I would not hesitate to have a gun finished in hard chrome...

    FNS chamber support

I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of chamber support the new FNS has. Or for that matter the FNP or FNX. I can't imagine that the barrel changed a whole lot between the models.
