    9mm 147gr plated bullet data

When I began loading I experienced similar results with Berry's 147gr. RN. It turned out that I was swaging the bullet down .0015 with my taper crimp. Between the 9mm Luger's tapered case and soft plated bullets, getting crimp tension just enough can be a challenge. $0.02

    Steyer M9

I have a L9A1. My ejection issues were cured by a call to Steyr that brought a new extractor(same as the original) and new, stronger spring to my mailbox- no need to send the gun back. By far, the softest shooting polymer gun I've ever shot. YMMV

    Unique sure unique; .45acp question

I don't know what you're shooting for, but 5.8gr of Unique drives a 200gr LSWC with great accuracy in my 1911.

Leaving the CZ Club: Loose barrels are "Normal"

The 75B is a service pistol. In spite of examples that shoot much tighter, 4" @ 25y is service pistol accuracy.

are powder coated cast bullets fatter?

I don't have a case gauge but, I do plunk all my rounds.... I load coated and LSWC to 1.230- 1.235. They plunk and feed without issue.

which 200 gr swc 45 acp is best

The SWC from Blue Bullet Co shoot very well for me. I got a deal on 1500 LSWC and they seem to shoot just as well. Unless you go to the trouble of sorting brass, trimming, uniforming flash holes, hand weighing charges, and bullets, etc. I doubt you'll find observable difference in...

    M&P rumor or fact?!?!

While things have gotten better, it's still somewhat of a crap shoot. I read one account that the problem lies with the high temperature the stainless slide is subjected to in the finish process- that is why high quality aftermarket barrels never were the "solution" to pistols plagued with...

FTE-what did I do wrong here?

I'll say the extractor needs more tension. A good test is to load the pistol, drop the magazine, and fire. Repeat 10 times, check where the brass lands, it should all be in the same general area. When new, my SA Range Officer did the same thing every 25 or so rounds. I added a little tension to...

question about 9mm sizing die marking the case

You can wear out a carbide sizing die. I lube pistol brass with Hornady One Shot, a 3 second blast into a gallon ziplock bag, add 200-300 (9mm) cases, roll them around, and dump into a bin to "dry" for 5 minutes. Press runs smoother, no sticky lube to clean off  YMMV

    Royal Blue Colt 1911

Any 9mm drilled and tapped for weaver rail?

ALG Defense introduced a mount for Glock pistols, I believe it uses the rail and existing frame pins and installs in 6 seconds. http://youtu.be/q3YBJMkcTQg?t=15m29s

    Sd ammo bullet setback

During the ammo "crisis" I got out of the practice of 3 and out. I write the OAL of the new rounds on the box and occasionally check the ones I carry. I deactivate any round 0.010 shorter than new. Much cheaper than blowing up a gun or a trip to the ER ;) YMMV
