I have big hands and the Hogue grip suits me ok. I enjoy shooting my LCR in .38 though I will say the first time I shot +Ps it had noticeably more recoil and I wouldn't want to shoot those that often. As for low powered .38s I find it enjoyable to shoot. I can't get my pinky on the grip but...
Yep, my local wally world has AR's, Sig rifles, the new Ruger American rifle in several calibers and Rossi Rifles. LIke you said, I see more stuff every few weeks.
My 226 was my first gun purchase b/c it fit my hand the best of 8 different pistols my friend let me shoot . I wasn't so keen on the price$$$ but the more I read about it I was convinced it was a good choice. My wife likes it too and she has small hands.
I got an Uncle mike's Holster for mine...I forget which size. I also got a Kholster for it but haven't used it yet.
As far as the gun (mine is .38 special) I love it. Very smooth trigger and accurate. I did shoot some +P rounds and it wasn't horrible but it wasn't as nice a shooting...
I have a Delica 4 and a full size Grip. The full size Grip is kinda chunky for EDC in my opinion but it is a great knife. The Delica is a great knife...thin handle and lightweight and cheaper than even a mini grip I believe.
