It has what looks to be a tooth on that center section, but its only one. The clylinder is also 1 9/16 as you said. I will put better pictures on here then. Thanks for the info.

Here are 4 pictures. I can post more if you need them. It has 6 1/2 barrel, wood grips, bore is bright, iron sights, and alittle rust on outside of barrel.
I have a 44 russian that is in good shape and mechanically sound. All serial numbers match except one grip.The serial number is very low 1927. It also has the reissue date on it. Any info would be great. I may also write SW to get letter for it.
