I've had a vest for 13 years now. Get it inspected once every 5 years and you should be able to get 15-20 years life out of it. Also depends on amount of use, etc. I was not in need to use very often so I'm still on my 1st vest.
just purchased a 3" SP-101 in .32 H&R Magnum...6 shots and adjustable rear sight for windage...nib for $319 shipped...will post pics after it arrives next week!
and then there is the Korean model Daewoo DR-200...basically an AR lower and an AK upper married together with an adjustable gas rate for different types of ammo. Sort of priced 1/2 way between the AR's and AK's :neener: .223
I've got a 66-3 w/ 2.5 inch barrel I bought years ago...in fact, I bought it to replace the model 19 w/ 2.5 inch barrel I sold to a co-worker for $275. Paid $375 OTD for the 66-3 and won't ever get rid of it. Now I also have a few snubbies from Taurus in 22 mag, 38 spl and 44 spl...nice...
5 shot 44 spl Charter Arms Bulldog...stops em cold. My Colt Detective special gives me 6 rounds of 38 +p+...my S&W 30-1 gives my wife 6 rounds of 32 long...very light on recoil and quite accurate. All are manageable to carry concealed...:rolleyes:
