And you are a very ignorant man pretending to know so much, that's fine, you go on and believe that no one should have any training what so ever to carry a firearm and I'll believe the opposite. We both already know who's right don't we. Have a good one pal.
For the record I've yet...
Brother I'm just a hard working country boy that thinks everyone should have guns and everyone should be trained with them. That's all..everyone CALM down lol. I'm not big brother trying to take away your guns. I understand where you all are coming from and I will agree. But I still stand behind...
It's a simple question, do you believe citizens who carry open or concealed should have more training to ensure the safety of themselves and those around them? Do you think that training should be a requirement?
When I say training I'm referring to combat drills, reload drills, detecting...
Your sarcasm is noted, and has no place in this conversation.
I think it should be a requirement, at least for the ccdw classes to have more hands on training. It's like people think I'm going against the 2nd amendment here just because I'm saying this one thing. It's odd..:scrutiny:
Well...
Thanks for all the great info everyone, I noticed that a lot of you would rather lean more towards a basic pack, after a lot of thought It would be more practical if I did the same. Camelbak seems to be a good choice, a little pricey but I suppose it'll be worth it in the long run. Thanks again...
I believe people are misconstruing what I'm saying along with twisting my words, so let me make myself clear and we can be finished with this ignorant conversation. I believe the American people should have every right to own, and carry, open or concealed, a firearm. I'm a member of our armed...
So your saying there isn't a problem with shootings in America or around the world this day and age. How about when a eastern Kentucky man took a 223 and 3 revolvers with over 500 rounds of ammunition and tried to run down President Obama's motorcade a few weeks back. That individual lives 30...
Quite a few members of my church carry also, while in church might I add. You gotta watch out for those little old ladies with the 38 tucked away where God only knows :D
I gotta agree, they need to realize just how close a shooting usually takes place. And I would rather bubba have been a...
Sigh...:scrutiny: People IN MY AREA consider a ccdw class or spending 2 hours on a range all the training they need, obviously I'm not speaking for everyone here. If your going to openly carry in crowded areas you need to train to be accurate in crowds, you need to train your mind how to handle...
I don't want to get to far away from the OP here but I can usually pick people out of a crowd that are military, law enforcement or trained civilians, usually by how they carry themselves alone. I'm sure a lot of the other members of THR that are current/ex military or law enforcement can do the...
If I recall the rules say be informative, not opinionated. Not trying to fight, just saying. Thanks for all the great info everyone. I'm leaning more towards Camelbak now. I'll definitely have to check them out.
They are rare, unfortunately they still happen.
HSO made some very good points, you should first inform your local wildlife authorities (game wardens or whatever you guys call them). If your forced to shoot at one a .357 or .44 is the way to go, IF you don't have a shotgun. You may not have...
The father in law bought one. Shot 10 rounds through it. After 2 feed failures later, and realizing I'd be just as well to pick up a rock for sd, I had to say no. I guess I'm being opinionated but even if I had shot 100 rounds and didn't have any failures, the pistol is just so cluncky and...
When I worked security we were only allowed 38's also..don't understand why they can't get with the times. But honestly a pistol is a pistol, just happy to have had one.
I don't believe he has a problem with that, just noting how odd it is to see cops (or security) still carrying revolvers. :D
I'll be buying one in 308, but I'm torn between the tactical and the varmint, any suggestions? I'll mostly be using this for whitetail deer. A lot of my hunts involve thick brush and I usually have a good distance to travel on foot.
Just ran into some issues with my dpms gas block. It's lower then my upper receiver so my iron sights didn't line up, that was a tad bit aggravating. I usually don't have much of an opionion about them. Considering the manufacturer doesn't jack it up with a horrible design.
