    Second Amendment Foundation Sue NY

This statement doesn't really make sense... Of course they can, and lawmakers do it all the time. In fact, I'd be surprised if you could name a single example of banning something where people hadn't already bought them. If nobody has them, what's the sense in banning them? I could see a...

    NY changes - - -

Wow, that's not correct. It has to be semi-automatic, have a detachable magazine, AND have one or more evil feature. These are the evil features: (I) A FOLDING OR TELESCOPING STOCK; (II) A PISTOL GRIP THAT PROTRUDES CONSPICUOUSLY BENEATH THE ACTION OF THE WEAPON; (III) A THUMBHOLE STOCK...

    CCI .22 Stinger.....

The stinger has a longer case than a normal .22 cartridge. In loose chambers, like the 10/22's, this isn't an issue. In tighter chambers, however, the extra-long case can cause problems.

    First hunt this weekend

I'm pretty excited. I've got some land upstate, and rifle season for deer opens on Saturday. The land is wooded (mostly oak) and I've got a Marlin 336 in 30-30. There's a ravine/gully/whatever-you-want-to-call-it that runs pretty much directly through, and I've seen deer using it before. I...

You may not think much of my motivations for living where I do, but there's a lot more to NYC than pizza. There's also a huge gap between magazine restrictions and being "treated like a Jew in Nazi Germany," and using that kind of rhetoric makes it difficult to take your position seriously...

Ruger 10/22 TD registration in NYC

Yeah, I've taken apart the Ruger 5-shot magazines for cleaning and the only difference is that there's a post that blocks the... spindle?... so that it can't rotate past a certain point. Ruger could make them with any capacity (up to 10 :D) just by changing the position of that post.

Ruger 10/22 TD registration in NYC

No idea how much it cost, but the place was called Rosebank Sports, phone number (718) 447-3664.

Ruger 10/22 TD registration in NYC

I've seen the 10/22 TD for sale in a store in Staten Island. I can't say for sure how the Rifle & Shotgun division is handling them, but the guy at the store was actively trying to sell them and I expect he wouldn't be doing that if customers were complaining about their registrations failing...
