    Colorado Weapons Ban

I hadn't heard of this. Good luck to you guys. Seriously. I'm rooting for you. But take heart, in CA we get bad law overturned regularly, it just takes too dang long And there's massive non compliance all over the place.

What was your first marksmanship badge of honor? .....

When I was a lad, we did a lot of exhibition style shotgun shooting as a family. Just for fun. When I went shooting with some friends I did a pretty standard stunt of simply throwing up 4 clays and shooting them all out of the air before they hit the ground with my 20 gauge pump. Then I...

Do You Change Your Every Day Carry When Going On Lengthy Out of State Road Trips?

Carry gun stays the same. I will usually bring an extra one (same gun as EDC ) and a few more mags.

Action shooting - 3 gun/multi gun/USPSA/IDPA/etc. post your videos, discuss techniques & gear

At 140lbs, I quickly discovered that there simply isn't enough real estate on the belt for 3 gun matches. I made up a placard years ago that holds rifle mag, pistol mag, and a shotgun shell caddy.

Action shooting - 3 gun/multi gun/USPSA/IDPA/etc. post your videos, discuss techniques & gear

I was the first shooter on the first stage of the day and during walkthrough, I picked out my targets and the land marks to find them. The sun came up just before the buzzer went off. The light on the landscape completely changed the colors and shadows. I lost all my landmarks. Really set me back

Nice, man! I like the pcsl format. The last big pcsl match I did was "hard as hell" and they had the red dot guys in the same division as lpvo. As a red dot guy... I wasn't nearly as competitive as I usually manage. The 500 yard targets were challenging. Doable, I'm proud to say, but you get...

    Italian Single Action Revolvers

They are fun, the price is right, you'll love it. I personally think that having them tuned contributes largely to the experience

Love the pics. I have a pre model 10 that looks just like your first pic. What grips is that last one sporting?

    Monte Walsh

A movie I should watch again soon. Cross dominance is not an issue. An excuse, maybe, but it doesn't slow down a good shooter even a little bit.

I was forced to buy a handgun today

I'd go back and get the sig too

Respect (or lack there of) for older Gun Writers

OP is on to something, for sure. I love watching old Ed McGivern clips But I also think it's the nature of things for the young to believe the old to be "behind the times" or not up to date on the latest technique, technology, etc And for the old to believe the young don't have enough time...

    Which one??

I just picked up a uberti stallion in 22 and it's more fun than I thought it would be. I've been doing 35 yard hits on steel one handed.

    Same, man. Same.

A cheaper to shoot snub for fun at the range (not for carry)

I just bought a uberti 22LR/22mag. I pick it up this week

I'll be the first to say that leather work is an art beyond my current ability. I have plans for a leather covered kydex knife sheath and we'll see how that goes

It's a mirror image from the phone. Right handed with handguns and left handed with long guns

What to do when you can't find a holster you like (make one)

I'm finding kydex to be really easy. I even slapped together a couple of knife sheaths while I was at it
