I damaged a beautiful heavy barrel 25-06 bolt face. I had blow back around the primers which cut the bolt face. The culpert in this case was a couple of over sized flash holes. The good news is that was 40 years ago it never hurt the rifle.

I collect early S&W Handguns. My own rule is I will not pay collector prices for any Smith below 90% condition. Any S&W below 90% to me is an interesting shooter. It seems over the years paying high prices for guns that are well used has been bad investments.:)
