I would have to agree that a HK 91 would be a better deal although I bought a CETME and I was lucky to get one that just doesn't seem to have any problems just needed replacement of parts that do wear out (rollers).
My CETME eats everything I have fed it from Fusion 150, win-west 150, Tula 147, Wolf 147, Remington 168, Lake city 175, without a hiccup. Now I need to replace the rollers as I down to near nothing on bolt space.
Leadcounsel, I agree with 90% of your post. However I own a CETME and maybe I just got a good one. It is dead accurate out to 400 meters, it eats every 308/7.62 ammo I load in the magazine. I have over 1000 rounds through it with out a single FTF or FTE. I did get a chance to fire the HK91/G3...
