What has the Nice attack told us now!

What this attack and others have illustrated to me is that it is not enough to only carry a firearm. Other items may not allow you to save the day, but may allow you to live, and save the day tomorrow. Shoes instead of flip flops, clothes that you can run/jump in.

Going to shoot great, great, grandpas colt!

Very nice. A note on smokeless powder. It is not only the amount of pressure that the load produces. It is the way that the pressure is applied. Smokeless powder has a very sharp, short pressure spike. Think of it as a hammer blow as opposed to steady pressure. Your non- heat treated...

Do you think .22 Rimfire is becoming obsolete?

Far to many people have fond memories of the .22 as their first firearm. Like the first kiss, it is never forgotten. So when our children get to an age, we purchase them a .22, because we want something so sweet, gentle and wonderfully good in their lives also. And it continues generation...

    Off Center Flash Hole

Die brands, IMO, are like car brands. Many have a favorite, but they all get you to work. I prefer RCBS.

What To Do With A Broken Gun

5,000 seems low. Find out which part broke, my guess is a spring, and see if Wolf or another reputable company offers a replacement. I think a more accurate analogy would be a brake repair on your auto. A part failed that is not scheduled replacement for a long time yet. At what point do you...

Just bought a .380 Looking for your favorite loads

Wife shoots a Sig P238. This load is 100% reliable in HER gun. 2.6 grains Red Dot 90 grain lead round nose cast (Lee) OAL 0.920 OAL seemed to be critical for reliability.

Shooting plated or jacketed bullets out of an old revolver

It is my understanding that plated bullets can be treated the same as cast lead for handloading purposes.

A gun so miserable to shoot, you want it anyway?

I had a Makarov. Something about the grip angle is not good for me and it hurt to shoot. I traded it off at a gunshow.

Specific reasons some people keep handguns in cars?

20 year old daughter cannot get a CCW. But she can keep one in the car. I actually used mine, once. I accidentally hit a deer and had to finish the job.

    Shoot or no shoot?

Did not inform because of panic, fear, stress, you banged your head in all the confusion. Worked for Ted at Chapaquittic/sp?. The legal hurdles $$ would already be ruinous. They cannot take twice as much $$ as I have. I do not know if police notification is required after a legal act. That...

    Cleaning Rods

Should not be improperly used. With an Olympic grade rifle, I would worry. With my old Remington 760, not so much. Proper tools used properly will give fine results.
