    Ruger Mark II or III

I own both, the overall feel is one of more quality with the II, the III is a great pistol, but if I could only have one? I'll take my MKII Stainless Government Competition Model all day long.

    NIB Ruger Mk III jams

My MKII was like that, and my MKIII 22/45 Lite has been like that, hose it down with spray lube, a lot wetter than you think is enough, fire 2-300 rounds of decent ammo, CCI mini Mags etc, clean and enjoy a pistol that'll eat anything...

    Almost a KABOOM! Beware!

Whether it would've been catastrophic or not, it still bears reminding everyone to be cautious.

    Almost a KABOOM! Beware!

HOOfan 1, she's got plenty of experience, owns a couple of her own guns and shoots regularly, and when something's amiss she knows to stop everything and see why, and she'd rather hand it off to me to investigate..

What can you tell me about NORINCO pistols?

I've owned 3 Norc 1911a1's, still own 2, one a beautiful blued version, and a NIB nickel plated model, and a parkerized version, I recently parted with the parkerized version to fund a pistol I had been hunting down for 15+ years and though I'm happy with my "unicorn" I still regret selling the...

    Almost a KABOOM! Beware!

I got it out with a hammer and a brass punch...I don't think I'll be buying more Tula, and I'll very cautiously shoot the rest that I have, but realistically I've heard of squibs with Winchester etc...

    Almost a KABOOM! Beware!

Both, thankfully she knew enough to stop and ask...She said it barely made a pop and then the slide was back 1/4" and stuck

    Almost a KABOOM! Beware!

Was at the range today with my wife and son having a blast, my wife was shooting my 1911 and came over saying it was jammed up, the slide was about 1/4" from seated, removed the mag, ejected the live round and looked in the chamber, and saw something that made my stomach sink, the back end of a...

    Reactive target. A bad idea.

In my younger years someone had dumped junk at a spot we used to shoot at, amongst the junk was a Teddy Ruxpin..I may have..assassinated him..with an SKS..and yes we picked up the pieces after LOL

AR guys: NFA poly lower help? Can't install mag catch

I've built 3 NFA lowers and am about to do #4 & 5, either a small file or exacto knife to open it up slightly, on their unfinished lowers there is always a small amount of fitting right there...Its not out of spec per se, its just excess poly from the mold...

What do you think of this AR build?

daveit, I used Del-Ton parts LPK in mine, I had to file the bolt release latch opening a little but that was it, still havn't had a single issue with any of my 3, I like them so much I just ordered 2 more...

    Heritage .22lr/Mag

I own 2 identical ones, both birdshead models in the 3.5" variety, both work flawlessly, hits where I aim it, fixed sights and a 3.5" barrel dont make a target gun by any means but its more fun than the $300 I paid for both has a right to be and as said its not a Ruger etc, but it'll likely...

Deal of the Year Despite the Panic Buying

The upper had been taken in on trade in this case, but I've seen consignments go the other way too, same shop had a pieced together 7.62x39 AR sit there for quite a while about a month and a half ago because the owner thought it was made of gold and wouldnt budge on price.

Deal of the Year Despite the Panic Buying

They've made a few bucks off me and I've gotten a couple good deals (this was the best one!) from them, so I dunno about criminal, but I will say I had to try not to giggle walking out with it :D
