    Striker Fail to Strike

Well, I removed the firing pin and examined the firing pin bore. It was perfectly clean and free of any contamination. Went ahead and thoroughly cleaned gun and I will take to the range this weekend. If problem persists, will return for repair.

My cure for panick component buying

Started reloading in October 2012. I load 9mm and 45acp. Was fortunate in December to find 4lbs of Win231. I already had on hand 3lbs of Unique. An oldtimer I met at the range, who does not reload anymore, gave me an additional 4lbs of Unique. With the 7k SP and LP primers and 7k FMJ bullets...

    Striker Fail to Strike

Thanks. I will remove the firing pin and inspect and clean the firing pin channel. If that doesn't work then it is back to MRI for warranty work.

    Striker Fail to Strike

Went to the range to road test my new Baby Desert Eagle. After about 25 rounds, the gun failed to fire. Upon inspection, the primer had a very tiny striker dent. I loaded a fresh round and failure to fire again. This time there was no striker dent but part of the metallic primer case was...

    Extruded primer.

Went to the range yesterday and was shooting 9mm reloads charged with 5.6gr unique, 115 FMJ and Remington small pistol primers. I have never had any problems with this recipe, however yesterday I noticed that my primers were extruded after firing. It looked like the primer flowed back around...
