I switched to VV N320 years ago and is my go to powder for pistol. Very clean burning powder and the best thing that I like about it is that I can use it in all my pistol loads, 9mm, 40S&W and 45 ACP with excellant results.

Well I grade things a little different for my handgun shooting, when I go shooting with my handguns I grade everything on center mass. I shoot at different distances as well as moving. I tend to use silhouette targets so if I'm on center mass I give myself an A, :):thumbup:

All I do is toss them in the tumbler for cleaning then de-cap and store for priming. I have never reamed primer pockets on 9mm, way to much brass and not a lot is crimped. I usually find out a pocket is crimped when priming, if it won't seat it goes into the recycle bin.

This does seem like an annomaly for sure, I have loaded 1000's 45ACP with mixed brass and all I have ever used is CCI LPP. Have you checked the primer plunger on the press? Is it inserted all the way, (not familiar with your press). Hopefully you can get thru this issue with little problems,

I have the Sheridan cutaway 223 case gage and I also have the L.E. Wilson gage, I use them both as they do different functions when checking the cartridge.

What I found interesting today while still resizing 9mm brass was I found some of these MAXX TECH brass to be normal, as in not any ledge inside the case. They looked just like any other brass so it seems like they had different cases, some had the ledge and some did not.

For me I have always just loaded LPP for 45ACP, using range pick up brass you will always find both. I have a bag of about a 1000 or so of SPP 45ACP but I do not reload them.
