I will have to admit I have ruined many a Sunday school lesson cussing the darned primer feed system the real weak spot in the loadmaster design. I told a friend my intent was to load ammo not work on the infernal machine! My Dillon 550B runs fine. Does anyone wanna buy my Load master?????? I...
I have the latest Lyman book and it seems ok , I did find and area of confusion when compared to the Lee 2n ed. I shoot a lot of 10MM ad the Lyman book offers many loads for 10MM but I have at the present time tried to limit the number of powderss I keep on hand. I selected Power Pistol as my...

...she went that a way! -> I don't know about your wife but I might be able to suggest some reloading gear. If you plan on doing any volume loading then I would start with a Dillon 550 press. I know everyone says use the simpler presses but they are so slow it was too slow for me. I would never...
Looking into loading 45-70: Suggestions/experiences wan
to start with, I have yet to load my first 45-70 cartridge, but there is a reason for that. I recently bought a Marlin LX mdl 1895, nice rifle. I also bought some lever evolution Hornady ammo(325 gr) along with some remington ammo (405...
I love my M&P 340! I shot it first with .38 special +P ammo and found it very controllable and accurate. I then loaded it up with some .357 magnum loads and found that obviously "stiffer" but reassuring that it had a little more horsepower if you wanted it. I carry it with .357 mags. I also own...
I don't know what you intend to shoot, I reload Win. AA trap hulls using slugs I cast myself. I have found those hulls on eBay and on Gunbroker, they are good quality for my use. Your choice of wads and projectiles may be different but the hulls I bought are 1X fired and work great. YMMV

~Z the bullets came from Midway, the description was manufacturer's have discontinued this item. I assume they were in a bulk state and some were tarnished. I have not opened these but the ones I opened were OK. They were as I described 100 gr. spritzers past that I have no idea , I am not...
I have a few items for sale or trade:
2 boxes of 6.5MM 100 gr spitzers
3 boxes of 100 ea of 140 gr 270's (.277)
would trade or sell.
These came from a sale at Midway as part of a blemished sale and were repackaged . I can see no blemishes at all I guess I got lucky with what I got. I...
Situations not covered in books have given me more trouble. One was used brass that is too short, and resizing would not help. I bought some that way, I know fireforming changes these specs and if resizing will not remedy them I have decided to sell them as scrap. I am a novice reloader myself...
I used a COL of 1.265" and it feeds great thru my S&W M&P full sized. I used Power Pistol 6.9 gr. and clocked and average 840 fps. YMMV, work up to it as the load manuals say.

I use Power Pistol as my primary powder for 40S&W, 10MM, and 45 acp, I guess since I started with it I feel very comfortable with it and like the results. I find it meters well in my Dillon 550 press, I may try it in 38 special and 9MM. I use Win 296 for magnum rounds.

re FA scale
I own one but retired it. I think you need a better scale for weighing powder. I would also recommend changing batteries often, this aids in stability. I have had too many instances where I literally felt I could not trust the results using the FA scale and ended up disassembling...
Bud's Gunshop
budsgunshop.com , I think good service should be rewarded. I have purchased at least 7 guns, perhaps more via your internet business a couple of them involving trades. I have always gotten friendly service and fair prices. Bud's is my "go to " shop when I search for a new product...

I have never used cream of wheat or cornmeal in cartridge guns but I did use it a lot back in my black powder days. I still had a lot of gun cleaning to do afterward . We use to use it as a cushion for round balls in Ruger Old Army revolvers. You had to shoot with the wind because we topped the...
