I have both and they are both great. The xds is easier to conceal for me as the grip is just a tad shorter. And it's a 45. Honestly I would grab either but there is no knocking the xds. It's been perfect and it's a quality firearm. The shield is nice too but a little more sloppy but also 100...
The xds was my first 45. I think it's pretty mild compared to most 40's I have shot. I am strictly into 9mm's so that was my benchmark. It handles quite well. You will feel more recoil then a 9 but that is to be expected. I expected it to be worse then it was. It's now my carry piece a lot of...
I would say shield for sure. Mine has been perfect. Along with the kahr cw/cm9 or the xds. I think all of these are better than the rem. rem to me is a rifle maker with a few pistols. But I just don't see the draw to the r51. It may be good in the end but the ones I mention above already have...
So what's the difference. Just don't turn the laser on. Not sure how making it without one would affect anything to be honest or make the gun a hot seller. It's not like the laser has to be used. I have a bodygaurd with a laser and I think I turned it on once at the range. Otherwise it never...
Xds for sure. I have the 45 xds and the shield 9. The shield is great but have been reading about shield 40's blowing up. My xds 45 also has more pleasant recoil than a shield 40.
My xds has been perfect. Easy to conceal too.
Not even in the same league. The shield is smaller an easier to carry than the 19 or 17. I vote shield. I have one and iys one of my favorite carry guns.
seriously, what a waste of time. Do they really think this is "new"? pocket 380's have been around a while. And if you can make a 380 this size where is the 9 mm? They really missed the boat on this. I am wondering how out of touch they really are.
I just had them service a broken revolver and they actually did well. They emailed me right back every time and fixed my gun in one day. Not a bad experience at all.
I own both the shield 9 and xds in 45. I love both but the xds is awesome. The recoil is mild for such a small gun. This is my first 45 and personally I don't like a ton of recoil. It's not an all day range gun but not that bad. It's about the same recoil as my kahr cm9.
I carry all 3...
