Attention Albuquerque, NM residents who frequent Wal-Mart

Mistaken After speaking with the Wal-Mart store manager for Coors Bypass, it has come to my attention that I was mistaken regarding the no firearms sign posted on their doors. According to the store manager ( who was very helpful in his clarification), NM is instituting a new law beginning July...

Thank you for the clarification Double Naught. I will be contacting the DM tomorrow, but you're right and it probably won't change. It's worth a shot though.

Attention Albuquerque, NM residents who frequent Wal-Mart

The sign does carry the rule of law, however, it is not walmart's policy to deny it's customers the right to carry in their stores according to it's customer service representative. I believe this issue has been raised before on the internet, and the issue is actually up to corporate, not the...

Attention Albuquerque, NM residents who frequent Wal-Mart

I was going into the Wal-Mart on Coors bypass, near the Cottonwood mall. I noticed as I walked in that there is a sign that says no firearms allowed on premises. Anyone carrying a firearm loaded or unloaded onto these premises is guilty of a fourth degree felony. I proceeded to speak to the...

    glock 30 after m&p40

Thanks for the reply. I just may go ahead and purchase it with all of the availability crises going on. It seems my LGS is not engaging in Price gouging so it sounds like a plan.

    glock 30 after m&p40

Hi all, I just recently purchased a full size m&p40 for a ccw/HD gun. I alsohave a Glock 26 for concealed carry, however, i only use it in summer. I was at the LGS today (which was barren, and this was the ONLY Glock they had) and saw a Glock 30SFfor $580.00 . I could use it for HD and ccw. When...

I wasn't aware a sig could do that. Is the P229 capable of those caliber conversions as well. If so, it would seem like a great all around pistol.

    What to purchase...

The Dan wesson Guardian is a very nice pistol indeed. And you're right it is very expensive. I have a family friend who owns a Dan Wesson 44 Mag from, I believe, the 1980's. Beautifully made revolver with rich bluing. Thank you for your reply.

Glock 26 Gen 4 Crimson Trace laser

Do any of you feel that a Crimson Trace laser is worth the steep price tag? In addition, does the laser change the grip significantly, it looks pretty fat with it on from the pics i've seen. What are your opinions?

    What to purchase...

I think I may have to go for the M&P45 compact. Hard hitting 45 ACP is a caliber I do not own at the moment, light enough to carry, can serve as a HD gun. Sounds pretty good.

    What to purchase...

Thank you for the reply Mr. Carter. I calculated the cost at my local range to their limited range of pistols and found it to be quite cost prohibitive. Range session $20, Pistol rental $10 plus the cost of targets and their ammo. Pretty expensive, but may be the best option.

    What to purchase...

Thank you much for the reply. I had a 1911, a sprinfield armory "loaded", i think it was. Traded it for Glock 20. I thought it was very heavy for woods carry all day long. I do love the 45 ACP round. As for revolvers, I find I do not like their round limitations, however, I do like their general...
