I have a chance to get a Detective for 400.00. But the blueing is worn a good bit. Or do I spend the same for a taurus ultralite. Witch will handle better.
My dad has a colt detective and he loves it my mom loves it and my wife shot it this weekened and she loves it. My wife and I are going to a gun show this weekened and will try to find her one. Smoth trigger. Have you priced the colt detective's yet. I havent seen one under 550$.
My Lee powder measurer did the same thing to the other day. I had was loading titegroup. I tightened up a little on the screw it made it a little harder but it doesn't leak FOR NOW.
I have only been reloading for about a year. I am reloading for my High Standard 1911 Compact. I came across some 45 brass with a small primer pocket. I don't have a large stock of primers or powder.With everything going on i found some small mag. primers thats all i can find. IS IT OK TO LOAD...
