North Dakota is very pro gun. Only state running in the black and has the lowest unemployment in the US.
Only downside is the weather ;). And housing is tough to find right now.
I guess if you aren't going to keep it I would say no. Not everyone would want a military unit marked AR.
I believe that AR prices will eventually go back to normal and you would be able to get a 750 Ar pretty easy. So save the money for accesories or ammo or the gun you want more.
