Fastest way to unload an AR magazine

That's why they put the "Auto" switch on the left side of the receiver. It automatically empties the magazine for you! Newbies .... Shesh!!!

This could be the start of gun control......

Fjotolf Hansen, who was responsible for the mass shooting in Norway in 2011 (69 shot, 8 killed by vehicle bomb) was 32 at the time. Age is irrelevant.

    Tanfoglio Witness 1911

Oh I'm having fun with it! I'm really enjoying popping the cans ... something I can't do at the local ranges. That and not having to get warned about firing too rapidly. I like the idea about the movable targets. Need to look into that.

    Tanfoglio Witness 1911

I totally agree with you regarding the same manufacturer ... they are virtually identical. Guess you just just pick the roll marks you like! I'm 64 and had cateract surgery over six years ago so I can identify with your comment regarding the sights. It's not that bad but you're right about...

    Tanfoglio Witness 1911

Not wanting to hijack an existing thread (1911 Air Gun), created this regarding new purchase. Purchased from Pyramid Air late on a Tuesday and had it in hand on Friday. Bought the bundled package that included the 1911; extra magazine, 40 12 oz CO2 cartridges, 6000 Copperhead BB's, a tin...

    1911 Air Gun?

Ok ... So I took a chance and ordered the Tanfoglio Witness 1911 with a spare magazine, 6000 BB's and a box of 40 CO2 cartridges. Should be here by next week. Was close to getting the Remington but as I bounced back and forth between the two, the roll marks and huge warning labels on the...

    1911 Air Gun?

bannockburn The reason why I was asking is that I've never owned a CO2 pistol with the blowback feature and have been apprehensive about how well they hold up over time. I've come close several times to either getting this one (by Crosman) or the Tanfoglio (by KWC). They're both roughly $100...

One in a Billion Shot! Bullet Down the BG's Barrel!

Looks like a Springfield XD 40 Compact to me. Gotta say it held up pretty well considering a round coming down the pipe the wrong way!

    AR Newbie 300 blackout question

Just curious, but I thought the 300 AAC Blackout could use the same magazine as the 5.56/.223 as the 300 is based on the 5.56 case. Why would you mark it? Edited: Think I answered my own question -- if loaded ... Not to mix up between calibers.

Obama set to push for ‘smart gun’ tech despite concerns

Just a thought, but wouldn't this potentionally accelerate the timeframe for some states to implement mandatory use of (whatever) technology becomes available for firearm sales in their states (thinking California, New Jersey, others?)

Obama set to push for ‘smart gun’ tech despite concerns

Agree ... don't see congress fighting this either so the only recourse would be the courts. I mean it's not like the courts are tilted in our favor or potential replacements to USSC are pro-2A!

    Gun buyback program "worth considering"

Really? Cash for clunkers program cost $2.8 billion. An $840 billion stimulus plan that the Obama administration pushed through Congress in 2009. The F-35 program will cost $1.5 trillion over the next 55 years it is expected to be flying, up from an estimated $1 trillion. Student loans...
